What is EQ Coaching, Really?

Emotional Intelligence (EQ) has gone from trendy buzzword to a more mainstream concept. Yet the majority of people don’t know what Emotional Intelligence REALLY is, or what EQ Coaching should really look like.

Our coaching program begins with the EQi-2.0 Assessment, a powerful tool created by Multi-Health Systems using research from all over the world.

Evidenced based coaching, featuring the EQi-2.0 Assessment

WHAT EQ COACHING IS

  • Evidence-based, measurable, structured, goal oriented, concrete, positive, growth mindset

  • Goal setting is client-driven and collaborative

  • Structured with a pre and post test, providing a road map for change, and the opportunity to quantify progress

  • Flexible, beneficial for personal growth and relationships, helpful for couples, parents, and teens

WHAT EQ COACHING IS NOT

  • Psychotherapy. While many of our coaches are licensed psychotherapists, Coaching is not Psychotherapy, not is it a treatment for mental health.

  • Life Coaching. Most life coaching lacks a concrete structure or guiding curriculum

  • For those with “problems”. EQ Coaching helps us reach our full potential. Our motto? “You Don’t Have to Be Sick, to Get Better”

THE EQi 2.0 PROVIDES SCORES ON 15 EQ SKILLS
