While critical for mental health treatment, many Adults in search of better relationships, support in pivoting to a new career, or seeking improvements in their own Assertiveness or Anger Management may find that psychotherapy is not the an ideal fit.

Therapy is based in a rigid medical model that frames treatment as a intervention for illness.
